Experience Days
If you have attended one of our “taster sessions” and feel you would like to move on. Get hands-on, practical knowledge in this ancient, traditional and important craft.
Overview
Enjoy our meet and greet session with a selection of light refreshments. Listen to our talk and honey bee presentation and get to sample various honeys with an explanation, and meet the “girls”.
Get suited up in protective clothing, watch an actual hive being opened up and enjoy a picnic lunch (please advise of any specific dietary requirements or allergies when booking). Visit our apiary and do some real bee-keeping under supervision.
Need to Know
Our Experience Days include refreshments and a chance to ask any beekeeping questions. You will also receive a small goodie bag on departure and a 10% discount voucher for use in our shop.
Prices : £175 per person, maximum 2 persons, duration 4 hours.
Terms and Conditions:-
1. Ages 16 and over.
2. Risk Assessment will be provided to read, understand and sign.
3. Do not proceed if you have a known allergy to bee stings.
4. Wear wellingtons or stout ankle boots.
