Expedition Down Booties – Down Booties for Winter Camping and Alpine Expeditions

The Expedition Down Booties are built for serious cold. Designed to thrive in extreme winter conditions, they’re the ultimate down booties for winter camping and alpine expeditions, offering exceptional warmth and protection when temperatures drop well below freezing.

Insulated with premium 850+ fill power ethically sourced goose down, these booties deliver high-loft warmth in a lightweight and compressible package. A GORE® WINDSTOPPER™ shell extends well above the ankle, providing built-in gaiter-style protection from snow, wind, and cold ground — exactly what you want for high-alpine camps, ski tours, or frigid nights in a tent.

The reinforced sole and heel include additional foam insulation for durability and warmth underfoot, making them more capable for walking around camp than your typical insulated bootie. A lightweight drawcord closure above the ankle seals in heat and helps keep out spindrift and drafts.

Ideal for expeditions, winter basecamps, or anyone venturing out in truly cold conditions, these booties are also a great choice for people who run cold or deal with poor circulation. Despite their technical performance, they remain light and packable enough to bring along “just in case.”
